PANCAKES with CHOCOLATE CHIPS for Valentine’s Day

Pancakes is a favorite meal for many of us. This time, I used sugar-free Almond Milk. It is suitable for the change and for those who avoid dairy. Also, fast and easy to make on the morning of Valentine’s Day.

PANCAKES with CHOCOLATE CHIPS for Valentine’s Day

Ingredients

Dry ingredients:

  • 1 ¼ homemade oat flour
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cream tartar
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Wet ingredients:

  • ¾ almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 2-3 drops of orange extract (optional)

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup of chocolate chips
  • 2-3 tbsp of almond milk

Instructions

  • Place dry ingredients in middle size salad bowl and mix well
  • Combine wet ingredients in a smaller bowl and mix well
  • Start adding wet ingredients to dry ones, combining gently
  • Let it stand at room temperature for 7-10 minutes
  • Cook on middle heat, using silicon pancake shapes as shown in the video
  • For the sauce, add almond milk to the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler
