DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

Dark chocolate is the best delicacy for keeping you healthy and cheerful and losing extra weight by enjoying its flavors. Valentine’s Day would not be the same without its traditional chocolate gifts. Make it for yourself and your loved ones. Please exclude your beloved pets! They can’t digest it properly.

DARK CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES

Ingredients

For truffles:

  • 4 oz chocolate containing more than 70% cocoa
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of orange-flavored liqueur
  • pinch of salt

For dipping:

  • unsweetened cocoa powder with some fructose
  • unsweetened coconut flakes
  • chopped pistachios
  • hazelnut meal

Instructions

  • Chop or grind chocolate and place it in a bowl.
  • Bring heavy cream to a simmer in a small saucepan, but do not boil!
  • Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, and let rest for 2 minutes.
  • Then whisk until smooth
  • Add orange liquor and salt and whisk again
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into a 7.5x5.5-inch glass dish, and refrigerate until chilled. Check every 10 minutes to prevent over-chilling.
  • Using a 1-inch ice cream scoop, scoop balls of the chocolate mixture and roll balls in cocoa powder and other toppings, as shown in the video
