Project Description
TURKEY MEALS for a SMALL THANKSGIVING PARTY.
What if you don’t have a big family or lots of friends for Thanksgiving party, but still want to celebrate it as a couple, or with your close friends, or in your pet’s company? In this case, there is no point to cook 10 pounds turkey and then eat leftovers till Valentine’s Day. Here is what you can do.
Turkey wings:
- Preheat oven to 430* F (200*C)
- Meanwhile, boil wings in slightly salted water for 5-8 minutes.
- Place turkey wings in a casserole dish, sprinkle with your favorite seasoning and bake until slightly browned (about 35 minutes)
- Lower the oven temperature to 370*F (170*C) and continue cooking until brown and tender (about 1 hour)
- Open the oven every 15-20 minutes to pour turkey’s juice over the wings.
Turkey Breast Cutlets:
- Place turkey cutlets about ¼ inches thick in the heated skillet with olive oil
- Cook until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Garnish with your favorite seasoning.
Turkey Roulades:
- Spread Low Glycemic Turkey Stuffing over turkey cutlets ¼ inches thick and make roulades
- Place them in a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with your favorite seasoning and bake in the preheated to 430* F (200*C) oven until slightly browned (about 35 minutes).
- Lower the oven temperature to 370*F (170*C) and continue cooking for 20-25 more minutes.
Serve those meals with Low Glycemic Turkey Stuffing, Arugula and Greens Salad, and/or other fresh or cooked vegetables of your choice.
