FRUITS and BERRIES SALAD

Fruits and Berries salads are great on a hot summer day, very healthy, and easy to make.

I don’t really think that any certain recipe can be assigned to a fruit salad. I would rather call it ‘a new fruit salad experience.’ Literally, it can be made with any fruits and berries from your refrigerator. Here is my most recent experience.

Low GI Recipes_Simple Fresh Fruits Salad_Fresh Fruits and Berries Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 nectarines
  • 1 orange
  • ½ pound strawberries
  • 1 grated carrot
  • Small box of blackberries
  • ½ cup of walnuts halves
  • 8 drops Angostura ® aroma bitters

Directions:

  • Cut fruits into small cubes, squeezing some orange juice into the salad
  • Add the carrot, berries, and walnuts
  • Spice with aroma bitters
