COCOA NUTTY SWEETS
Cocoa nutty sweet balls are my son’s favorite! The dessert is Sugar-free, Gluten-free, and Low GI. If you don’t like coconut, use pure cocoa powder or almond meal for coating. Delegate shaping sweets to someone else, and get plenty of time for making more desserts 😉
Cocoa Nutty Sweets
Ingredients
- 1 stick melted margarine (or 8 tbsp coconut oil)
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 4 tbsp baking cocoa
- 1/2 cup agave syrup
- 3.5 cup almond meal
- Unsweetened coconut flakes for coating (about 2 cups)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together
- Let it set for 10-15 minutes at room temperature
- Form balls and roll them in unsweetened coconut flakes
- Keep refrigerated for at least 1 hour, or overnight
Notes
Low GI/ Sugar-free/ Gluten-free dessert!
GI of pure cocoa and of Agave syrup is low, only 20
GI of Almond meal is only 15
