Apple latkes are sugar-free, gluten-free, Low Glycemic, and simply yummy! The traditional Hanukkah meals are cooked in oil or deep oil, which generally does not consider a healthy way of cooking unless you cook in OLIVE OIL! This year, you can enjoy apple latkes without deprivation.

APPLE LATKES FOR HANUKKAH

Ingredients

  • 2 big sweet red apples
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup oatmeal flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • olive oil for deep cooking

Instructions

  • Unpeel apples and grate on a big grader
  • Add all other ingredients, mix well
  • Cook on olive oil as shown in the video
