CHICKEN PATTIES with ASPARAGUS

Chicken patties is a light meal especially loved by kids.  I used to make them for lunch for my son in his school years. Accompanied with baked asparagus, they can be a nice light dinner too.

CHICKEN PATTIES WITH ASPARAGUS

Ingredients

For patties:

  • 1 pound of chicken thighs grounded
  • ½ of onion chopped
  • 2 big Bella mushrooms grated
  • 1 egg
  • ½ bunch of scallions finely cut
  • salt and pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp of Worchester sauce

For asparagus:

  • ½ pound of fresh asparagus
  • salt
  • lemon pepper
  • dipping or flavored olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a big salad bowl and mix well by hands
  • Make medium size patties and cook on a high/medium heat as shown in the video
  • Trim the asparagus and place it into a baking dish
  • Sprinkle with salt, lemon pepper, dipping olive oil, and fresh lemon juice
  • Bake at 450*F (230*C) for 12-13 minutes
