MEATBALLS is an internationally favorable meal. Adults, kids, students (and pets 🙂 like this simple and cozy entree. Great for a party, lunch, or dinner. This time we’ll avoid adding carbs and reduce as much fat as possible.

For meatballs: 1 pound ground beef (0.5 kg) 1 pound ground chicken 1 egg 1 onion 1 tbsp finely chopped or dried parsley 1 tbsp finely chopped or dried oregano Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: 1 big onion chopped 1 pound tomatoes 4 tbsp tomato paste (no sugar added) ½ cup water ½ cup dry red wine 1 garlic clove 1 bay leaf salt, black pepper 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Tomato sauce: Cook onion in olive oil using a deep heavy skillet
Remove the skin from tomatoes as shown in thevideo, cut them into small cubes
Add tomatoes to a skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, steering with a wooden spoon
Add all other ingredients, continue cooking and steering
Drain meatballs and DISCARD the water
Place meatballs into the tomato sauce and cook for 10 more minutes
