PORK with VEGETABLES CHINESE STYLE
Pork with vegetables is a classic Chinese cuisine meal, which has already become a part of our everyday lives. And all would be fine, but the vast majority of Chinese dishes are prepared with starch, sugar, or flour. So if you want to stay in good shape, try this version of “Chinese style pork.” The dish’s taste is close to the original, and there are no harmful for us products.
PORK WITH VEGETABLES CHINESE STYLE
Ingredients
- 2 pounds (1 kg) of lean pork fresh meat
- 1 large onion
- 1 bell pepper (red, yellow, or orange)
- 1 box (150-200 g) of mushrooms (shitake or champignons)
- 2 medium-size dry mushrooms
- 1 bunch of green onions
- 1 bag (400-500 g) of sprouts
For sauce:
- Water from soaked dry mushrooms
- 1 inch (2.5 cm) of chopped ginger root
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp of mustard
- salt, pepper, paprika to taste
- olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Soak dry mushrooms in 1/2 glass of water for several hours
- Cut all products into thin strips
- Cook the meat on olive oil on high heat until half cooked
- Add all other ingredients one by one as shown in the video stirring gently
- Make the sauce by mixing all listed ingredients
- When meat and veggies are done, add the sauce and sprouts and simmer fora couple of minutes
You can substitute pork meat with chicken or beef if desired.
