Pork stir fry – my first experience ever! Without pretending to be Chinese-cuisine-chef, I want to reassure you that this meal is low glycemic, sugar-free, gluten-free, and helps lose weight.

PORK STIR FRY WITH RED PEPPERS AND BROCCOLI

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of lean pork cut into thin strips
  • 1 pound of broccoli flowers
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 2 big garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbs of soy sauce
  • salt and black pepper

Instructions

  • Add garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the meat. Mix well, and leave for 5-10 minutes to marinade
  • Meanwhile, cut the red pepper into long strips
  • Cut broccoli flowers into smaller pieces
  • Heat the olive oil and add broccoli flowers and red pepper, cook for 1minute
  • Add meat and cook everything for 8-10 minutes, stirring periodically
  • Cut scallions and add them at the very end, when the meat and vegetable are ready
