TURKEY PATTIES with BUCKWHEAT

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey 93% lean
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 zucchini small
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Boil 2 cups of water.
    Place the buckwheat inside, close the lid, and lower the heat. Cook for 6-7 minutes, then turn off the heat and leave the pan on the stove to complete the cooking.
  • In a salad bowl, grate zucchini on a fine grader
  • Chop the onion
  • Add ground meat, salt, and pepper and mix well until the texture is smooth
  • Wet the hands and form little patties, as shown in the video
  • Cook the patties both sides in olive oil on high heat until brownish crust
  • Add 2 tbsp of water, close the lid, lower the heat, and cook for another 5 minutes.
