CABBAGE ROLLS stuffed with GROUND BEEF

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized cabbage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 onion
  • 1.5 cups of Pasta Sauce sugar-free
  • ½ cup of water if needed
  • salt and black pepper
  • avocado oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Take out the cabbage stalk and make a hole as shown in the video
  • Remove the top several leaves of the cabbage if possible. If not, place the whole cabbage into salted boiling water
  • Boil for a couple of minutes, then start separating leaves
  • Boil for another 1-2 minutes until soft
  • Take them out into a colander to let the water out
  • Cut the onion
  • Remove the hard part of the cabbage leaves, and cut as shown in the video
  • Chop the onion with the cabbage pieces in a chopper
  • Combine the mix with ground meat, add salt and pepper
  • Place an appropriate amount of meat at the bottom of the leaf, fold the edges, and roll it
  • Repeat for all cabbage leaves
  • Heat the skillet, and add the avocado oil
  • Place rolls with the open side down
  • Fry from both sides until golden
  • Add pasta sauce, cover, and cook for 20 minutes
  • Check while cooking and add water if needed
