CHICKPEAS HUMMUS

Ingredients
1 can (15oz) chickpeas or 1.5 cup cooked chickpeas
¼ cup fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
1 small garlic clove, minced
¼ cup well-stirred tahini
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp salt
2-3 tbsp water
dash of ground paprika
Instructions
Step 1
In a food processor, combine tahini and lemon juice for 60-90 seconds
Step 2
Add olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt to process for 1 minute
Add half of the chickpeas and process 1 more minute
Add the rest of the chickpeas and process until thick and smooth for 1-2 minutes
Add water if the hummus is still too thick
