PORK CHOPS WITH GREEN BEANS AND ALMONDS

Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops (or 2 cuts of pork butt meat)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ cup of sliced almonds
  • 2-3 cups of fresh green beans
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Cut onion into ¼ rings and start cooking on olive oil on high heat until golden brownish
  • Cut garlic and add to the onion, cook for another minute and remove from the heat
  • Preheat another skillet and cook meat on olive oil until crispy from both sides
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Remove to a hot plate, cover with aluminum foil and a towel
  • Boil the water and place green beans there for 1 minute, then drain
  • Add some olive oil to a clean skillet, add green beans and almonds
  • Transfer beans with almonds to the plate with cooked meat
