PLUMS IN RED WINE FLOURLESS DESSERT

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 1 pound of plums
  • ½ cup pure fructose
  • 1/2 cup of red wine
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

For the topping:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp fructose
  • 1/2 cup of almond slices

Instructions

  • Cut plums into four pieces, removing the seeds
  • Heat wine in a deep pan, add plums, fructose, and cinnamon
  • Boil on low heat for 2-3 minutes
  • Meanwhile, beat 2 whites until light and fluffy. Then start adding fructose continuing beating until firm texture as shown in the video.
  • Add almonds and mix very gently
  • Transfer plums to a baking dish, leaving liquids in the pan
  • Cover with a whites-almonds mixture
  • Bake 10 minutes in a preheated to 350*F oven until the topping gets golden color
