Light Apple Pie

Ingredients

For filling

  • 4 sweet apples pilled and cut into lobes
  • 1/2 cup Agave syrup
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries (optional)

For the dough

Instructions

  • Saute apples with cranberries and a syrup for 10-15 minutes, until soft but not mushy
  • Place the mix into baking dish you prefer
  • Make a dough and spread it carefully over the filling
  • Bake 16 minutes in preheated oven at 350*F (175*C)

The Glycemic Index of Almond meal is low, only 15
The Glycemic Index of pure fructose and agave syrup is 20, which is 5 times less than the Glycemic Index of sugar (100)
